It may not be the most obvious place like one of the more high-end bars in Dublin, but it's definitely my favourite.
The Haddington Hotel looks out over Dun Laoghaire Harbour and its restaurant offers beautiful views out to the sea.
It had a renovation a couple of years ago but I still think it's one of Dublin's best kept secrets.

The restaurant serves up some quality food including their delicious pizzas, but the real kicker is out the front in the terrace garden. It is absolutely stunning when we are blessed with the good weather.
Picnic tables offer most of the seating but if you are lucky, you will snatch one of the booths built into the wall.
And if it's too busy to get a seat? Well, you are welcome to sit down on the patch of grass in front of the seats and soak up the sun.

A walk down the pier followed by a cold drink and a pizza on the terrace is a day well spent.
