Brighter skies, longer days and spring's impending arrival are not all there is to be excited about.
Over the past month, new openings means there's even more to talk about when it comes to Dublin's food scene.
Lucky for you, we've compiled them all below so you can add them to your own to-do list.
Here are the best new Dublin openings to try this month:
Portobello
Famous for their stellar brunches, Alma in Portobello has opened their new venture Around The Corner - that is both the name and descriptive of its location.
They are serving up absolutely absurd sambos and class coffee - it makes for the perfect lunch spot.
O'Connell Street
This viral cinnamon roll bakery has opened in the city centre and it is the epitome of a sweet treat.
From decked out matchas (we recommend the banana pudding one) and cinnamon rolls in an abundance of flavours - they've got it all.
Ranelagh
From the amazing team behind China Tang in Monkstown and Hakkahan Chinese in Stoneybatter, their latest offering China Hunan has opened its doors in Ranelagh.
It's everything you could ask for - delicious food, five-star service and a luxurious atmosphere.
Clontarf
Over in Clontarf, a cool new café is fresh on the scene.
Dishing up a range of stunning sandwiches - from vegan to the classic ham and cheese, and pouring out unreal coffee and matcha, it's definitely one to check out.
Blackrock
Outside of the city, this new spot in Blackrock village is serving up homemade food and delicious coffee.
From fabulous foccacia's to mouth-watering matcha's (which by the way, can be taken to go in the form of a can), this new opening is definitely one to check out after a morning walk or swim.
Rathgar
Tribe have opened their second location in Rathgar this past month, and we know it's going to be a staple for the area.
And, they're not only offering what they're best known for, such as speciality coffee and açai bowls, but have teamed-up with Fatbaby Bakes herself to dish out some authentic New York style bagels six-days a week.
We reckon bagels are our next hyper-fixation food...
George's Quay
On that bagel note, a new scandi-style café located on George's Quay also jumped on the scene this past months, and they too are dishing out some beautiful bagels.
Their ethos is simple; ‘everything made in-house’. The candied bacon topping has already gained notoriety as the favourite, however that smoked trout bagel is definitely putting up a fight for the spot!
South Circular Road
You'll be delighted about this one...
Scéal Bakery has returned to where it all started in Dublin 8.
They have opened a new location on the South Circular Road, taking over the space from Little Bird café (with the yoga studio still in operation upstairs).
Clanbrassil Street Lower
Last but certainly not least is this stylish wine bar and restaurant, also in Dublin 8.
The Libertine is located on Leonard's Corner and they're serving up a considered food and cocktail menu.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, it's definitely a new spot to try out next time you're in the mood for a treat on the fancier side.
