The May bank holiday means it’s nearly summer at last. Another bank holiday approaches, and we’ve got a ton of events you may be interested in checking out over your three-day weekend. Dublin will be teeming with events and activities, from gigs to comedy festivals and even dumpling-making classes. So, if you’re lacking some bank […]
These spots are paws-itively great for you and your four-legged friends! Over the past few years, many of us have rightfully become more reluctant than ever to leave our dogs behind when we head out on adventures. Out for coffee? The dog’s coming. Heading to a comedy show? The dog’s coming. In the office for […]
Easter weekend is upon us and that means only one thing: Hot Cross Buns. Well, technically it also means chocolate eggs, roast dinners, and an uptick in pastel tableware. But for those of us with a soft spot for seasonal bakes, the arrival of hot cross buns is the real celebration. These sweet, spiced, fruit-studded […]
Times are changing and people are becoming more aware of their spending habits and carbon footprint.
There has been a wave across the Irish social media scene of the promotion of sustainable fashion and the benefits involved. It's one of the most positive changes I've seen online as of late.
Shopping vintage has many benefits, it defies the bad habits of fast fashion, the pieces are entirely unique and there's a mystery story behind them.
Here's some sheeexy pieces I've spotted on Insta this week.
1. Pink Denim Jacket - Tola Vintage
Tola is one of the best vintage shops in the city. They have every kind of style you could imagine and so many slick jackets.
They're the soundest people ever too.

2. Chanel Bag - Siopaella
If you're into designer bags you should definitely check out Siopaella.
You might find the bag you've always been dreaming of for a fraction of its original price.
3. Floral Shorts - Finders Keepers
Finders Keepers is our newest vintage obsession.
This cute shop in Bray is well worth the trip out to.

4. Abstract Shirts - Dublin Vintage Factory
Dublin Vintage Factory is expanding and has just opened a deadly shop in Temple Bar, where Lucy's Lounge used to be.
This is probably the best value vintage store in the city.

5. Striped Pinafore - Nine Crows
This outfit is giving me serious spring vibes.
Need it all.

6. Tommy Jeans - The Vintage Shop
The Vintage Shop in George's Street Arcade is often forgotten about but it has some really great pieces.

7. Cord Shirts - Loving Youth in Topshop
The Loving Youth section in Topshop is filled with vintage treasures.
It's nice to see a fast fashion brand doing their part, or at least making a small effort to promote vintage fashion.
