When it comes to summer time in Ireland, we put on a pretty great show – and when the sun shines, there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.
Late last year, Carlsberg introduced us to the latest lager from their brewers. A great tasting, cloudy, pilsner lager, Carlsberg Unfiltered offers beer drinkers a brand new taste experience.
We all know Carlsberg as being probably the best beer in the world. We also know the Danes as being laid back folk who value simplicity and a connection with nature so true to its name, Carlsberg Unfiltered reflects how it’s made.
The brewers removed the filtration process – hence the name – which gives this delish lager a more natural flavour with subtle floral and hop notes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no beer expert but it tastes pretty great. This type of lager is popular around Europe, so it’s probably a good thing this trend has now come to Ireland. Don’t want any FOMO vibes now, do we?
Speaking of the Danish way of life, it’s the little things in life that make us happy. A hazy summer’s evening, a refreshingly cold beer and perhaps some chilled tunes to top it all off.
