If you're anything like us, you'll be over the moon to hear there will be plenty of delish foodie events - NOM.
There's so much on the schedule, but these two events in particular caught our eye:
This two-man live show looks at the science and culture of food. Award-winning broadcaster Jonathan McCrea and geek chef Ivan Varian from Dalkey Food Company, will discuss some of the most unusual food on the planet as they serve up a six-course meal live on stage. No pressure lads.
From how our eyes and nose deceive us to how our genetics choose if we are mere tasters or in fact supertasters, this event will explore loads of factors that affect how we enjoy our food.
A regular tent-filler at Theatre of Food at Electric Picnic, Gulp is a celebration of the senses - and something you won't want to miss. (They even have insanely hot ice-cream.)

Baking in Space @ Smock Alley Theatre, Nov 13th & 14th, 7:30pm
If you're looking for something a little different - but still want to get your geek on - we're loving the sound of this Baking in Space event.
How would you bake bread in space? What connects molten sugar and micro-meteorite protection? Join GBBO finalist Andrew Smyth (who also happens to be an aerospace engineer - as you do.) and scientist, space explorer Dr. Niamh Shaw for an evening of all things space, food an baking.
Taking place on Tuesday 13th November in the Smock Alley Theatre, Baking in Space will have live demos, tastings and audience interaction. Seriously, this event is something the whole family will love! Prepare to have your curiosity whisked, stirred and taken out of this world. Mic drop.
