There's just something about France that oozes sophistication and class, and coffee culture has been at the heart of the country's social life for centuries.
French cafés are the ideal rendezvous spot - the neighbourhood hub, the place to relax and refuel with a strong cup of petit noir (an espresso) and a freshly baked, warm and flakey croissant.
Much more than just a coffee shop, cafés in France typically have a full food menu and bottles upon bottles of wine, with an atmosphere that's made for sitting undisturbed for a couple of hours, delightfully watching the world go by.

This stylish patisserie and bistro in south Dublin is the perfect spot to start the day with an 'Oeufs Bénédicte' and a creamy white coffee.
You can chill outside and (if you're feeling like a real treat) take one of their delish Mille-Feuille cakes to go.
This authentic crêperie serves specialties from the Brittany region, with savoury crêpes made from buckwheat flour (a naturally gluten free product) and sweet crêpes made from wheat flour in the traditional way.
