One of Dublin's most popular food markets is opening its doors once again... this time, with a difference.
Opening as Yuleyard for the first time ever, Carlsberg Unfiltered will be bringing a true taste of Danish Christmas to the heart of the city. If you're not familiar with the 'hygge' effect here's what you can expect - fairy lights, faux fur, wood burning stoves, comfort food. AKA - anything and everything that brings on that fuzzy, snuggly feeling inside that comes from spending quality time with others.
Kicking off on Nov 22, the Danish-inspired winter wonderland will stay open right up until Christmas with great pop-up crafts and farmers market on Saturday and Sunday.
Carlsberg Unfiltered is a new cloudy, crisp pilsner from Carlsberg, unfiltered for a more natural taste. It is inspired by the Danish values of simplicity and connection with nature and to celebrate the Christmas season, Carlsberg Unfiltered have created a special 'Mulled Unfiltered'. Flavoured with sweet honey, zesty lemon with hints of ginger, cinnamon and cloves, and finally topped with the new brew, this tipple along with the hygge setting is sure to warm the cockles of everyone's heart.
If you're anything like us, the promise of delish food will draw you to the Yuleyard even more and believe us, this place will not disappoint. Tucked away above the hustle and bustle of the main spaces in a secret terrace, the Carlsberg Unfiltered Christmas Garden awaits where guests can unwind with friends in this magical intimate setting. Carlsberg Unfiltered have teamed up with Meltdown to create a Danish inspired sharing menu with mouth-watering toasties such as The Christmas Toastie with Gravy - Ross's 'Moist Maker' ain't got nothin' on this!
Carlsberg Unfiltered in one hand, unreal cheese toastie in the other and a superbly cosy hidden garden? We're all over this. Keep an eye on our page for the chance to win a VIP experience for you and your friends to this secret garden!
Not that you'll need any more convincing, but there's also a fully covered and heated area that's home to the ultimate cheese lovers paradise... limited edition cheese fondue and Parma ham carved on site. NOOOMMMMM.
The Carlsberg Unfiltered Yuleyard is set to be a massive hit, you'll get serious FOMO if you don't make it down. Loads more info and updates can be found here or keep an eye on Carlsberg's Instagram. All that's left to say is Skål!
