Summer is officially here, and that means one thing and one thing only: a jam-packed social diary.
Over at Lovin HQ we're big fans of making the most of summer in Dublin, so we've teamed up with 1664 Blanc to throw a series of exclusive events just for you guys.
What is 1664 Blanc, you ask? It's basically the beer of the summer - light and fruity with a refreshing taste. For those of us who've long since forgotten our Leaving Cert French, think 'Blanc' as pronounced by Ross O'Carroll Kelly - so it's Blaaaanc with an 'o', not 'blank'.
Pop a slice of lemon or orange in there for a signature serve and you've got yourself a long cool drink that screams warm midsummer evenings.
So - back to these exciting soirées we've planned: we've already enjoyed two and there's only one left....
Intrigued? Read on to see what we have in store for you...
To finish off our exclusive party series we'll be throwing a Rooftop Party at The Marker Hotel... Watch the sun set against the backdrop of a French candy cart and a DJ
Possibly one of the best views in Dublin awaits at our Rooftop Party on Thursday July 26. 1664 Blanc in hand, chill out at The Marker's incredible rooftop as a DJ spins chilled out tunes. Ibiza's Cafe Mambo won't have anything on this.
Sophisticated finger food on the night includes Schechuan spiced Beef with Asian Salad, Peanuts and crispy Shallots as well as Liscannor Crab, Cucumber and Lime Bruschetta with Pat Clarke’s Coriander Cress, Crème Fraiche but the real treat is a French-style candy cart serving macarons and opera gateaux.
Maybe start spreading the word with your going out crew in the comments below? Pop that date in the diary y'know...
