Two gardaí were attacked by a gang of youths on Manor Street in Stoneybatter last night.
The male and female gardaí were set upon while on patrol in the area, resulting in them being transported to the Mater Hospital. They have since been discharged.
One teenage boy is currently being held at Bridewell Garda Station in relation to the crime.
Gardaí are asking for anyone who might have witnessed the attack on Manor Street last night to please come forward with any information.
