PIC: This Is What The Face Of A Typical Dubliner Looked Like In The 16th Century

Ever wondered what you'd look like if you lived in Dublin in the 1500's? Okay sure, it might not be top of your thoughts allll the time, but you're curious of course.

Well, three years worth of research on human skeletons found at Trinity College in August 2014 has yielded a pretty cool facial reconstruction of what a man living in or near Dublin in the 16th century would look like.

Five skeletons were found dating from 1485 and 1603, with the best preserved one used for the face project.

The fairly good-looking lad would have lived his life at the poorer end of society, The Journal reports, with a poor childhood nutrition and doing heavy labour.

The fella would have been aged between 25 and 35 and was around 5'6" in height.

The other four skeletons all died between the ages of 13 and 17.
