Dublin Bus has confirmed the news that they will be starting a brand new bus route at the start of December.
The new bus route is called the 40e and will run over 35 times a day during the weekday with less frequent running times during the weekend.
In a statement on their website, Dublin Bus said:
"From Sunday 2 December 2018 Route 40e will originate at the Carlton Hotel Tyrrelstown and terminate at Broombridge Luas Stop, serving Cappagh Hospital along the route.
"All changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority"
You can find the Route 40e timetable here and below is what the route will look like:

As well as this, from Sunday 2 December 2018 Dublin Bus will have an additional 283 departures per week running across their Route 4 service.
