Plans for new developments at St Anne’s Park in Raheny continue, with developers hoping to add 650 apartments to the site.
The controversial project already has plans for over 500 houses, but the newest proposal would see an apartment-only scheme introduced, in blocks up to nine-storeys high.

Along with almost 500 parking spaces to be housed on the former playing fields of St Paul’s College.
This comes more than a year on from the developer’s initial submission to build in the area was rejected. An Bórd Pleanála put a stop to plans after public uproar and High Court proceedings began.

The biggest proposal for the site so far, it has been met with continued objections and serious concerns by locals.
With renewed commitments to continue the ‘I Love St Anne’s’ campaign, both on the part of residents and politicians, it remains to be seen whether the new application will be granted planning permission.
