Homeless Mother Margaret Cash Says Her Family “Are Being Moved Like Cattle” After Moving Into B&B

Margaret Cash has spoken out about her anger at being moved from a three-bedroom apartment to a B&B in Drumcondra with her seven children, aged between one and 11 years old.

The 28 year old said they were “being moved around like cattle” after it was revealed they would have to leave their accommodation due to a "booking error".

It emerged the landlord needed the three-bedroom flat back as it had already been let out to another tenant from September 2, and the family were forced to move once again.

Speaking to The Sun, she said:

“I’m devastated, it is more bad news. We have been moved from a three-bed apartment to a one room in a B&B.

“That’s all there is for all eight of us, one extended room, there’s bunk-beds. I thought we were getting another apartment but no. I’m absolutely sickened.”

Cash and her children made headlines recently after they were forced to sleep in Tallaght Garda station. She was then offered the three-bedroom apartment after the photo of six of her children went viral.
