It’s Been Decided – This Is The Best Train Station In Ireland

Irish Rail has stations and trains around the country. It's one of the biggest forms of transport, and in my opinion, the most relaxing. 

The annual Irish Rail Best Station Awards (yep - it's actually a thing) have crowned their lucky winner of the ultimate and top train station in the country.

Are you ready? *Drumroll and a beep-beep of the train doors pleeeaaaze....*

And the winner is ... 

Pearse Station!

The Dublin-based station has been crowned the winner and was voted the very best by the public, according to 98fm.

Pearse Station also won the best DART station. Meanwhile, Sligo Station won best station for Customer Service. 

The Best Commuter Station Award goes to Kildare's Hazelhatch & Celbridge Station. 

Connacht's best station was awarded to Carrick-on-Shannon. Munster won for Templemore, and Athlone was Leinster's winner.
