The Irish Times is reporting that Gardaí are setting up a major security operation in West Dublin after a shooting at the weekend.
Major security operations will be put in place for the funeral of Derek Coakley-Hutch who was shot dead near Cloverhill Prison at the weekend.
As well as this, Gardaí will be looking to step up security around the Criminal Courts of Justice in central Dublin where a Kinahan-Hutch feud-related trial is currently under way.
Gardaí are concerned that the latest killing may lead to another fresh round of attacks and are on high alert in case this happens.
They have also asked the public to help them locate the movements of several vehicles which are linked to the shooting.
“In particular those people who may have dashcams, or who may have seen the movement of the vehicles prior to 3pm yesterday afternoon and up until 6.25pm or thereafter at Snowdrop Walk in Darndale," stated Supt Gordon.
Something to take note of if you live in these parts of the capital.
