Irish music fans, and music fans in general will be delighted to hear that the life of iconic Phil Lynott will be brought to the big screen.
Jim Sheridan, six time Oscar nominee, and documentary maker Colm Quinn, will be working together on the new film titled The Rocker: The Life and Music of Phil Lynott, according to Scannain.com.
But that's not all.
They haven't found the perfect person to represent the Irish star on screen just yet, and they're opening the search to the public.
They are looking for men aged between 18-35 to come to the casting, on Bow Street, Dublin 7 from 12.30pm, equipped with a song, poem or something else to prove your worthiness of taking on this role.
Musical experience is not required, and you don't even have to register.
The actual filming of the documentary will take place throughout 2017.
They also say auditions may be recorded, and be included as part of the film, so even if you don't get the part you might still get to feature anyway!
