Christmas may still seem like a while away but as always you won't feel it flying in. Some of Dublin's most popular stores already have there festive stock in and it won't be long before we're all sipping mulled wines and queuing for taxis home at 2am.
Of course, that last issue doesn't apply to children who are just looking forward to Old Saint Nick arriving down the chimney with a bagful of pressies.
There will be plenty of places where they can catch a glimpse of the big man before Christmas though and Dublin Zoo is one of them. Tickets to see Santa at the zoo will go on sale tomorrow and are likely to snapped up fairly quickly so you better get in fast if you want to treat the little ones to a day out at the Phoenix Park.
