We're spoiled for choice here in Dublin when to comes to places to eat and drink but if you're been hankering for a change of scene lately, then you're in luck.
A new wave of cool bars and restaurants have popped up over the last few weeks and months, meaning you have a whole new host of excuses to ignore the boring contents of your fridge and treat yourself instead!

This is definitely one of the city's most unique spaces, aiming to be a place "to hangout by day, an event space, a conference centre and a live venue by night". Located on Hawkins Street, it has a real industrial feel and is probably the newest on the list as it just opened its doors on Friday!
The guys behind Camden Exchange are in the driving seat at this very cool Tara Street venue, which is modelled on the ruin bars of Budapest. They have delish food, tons of cocktails and craft beers and it's already proving very popular. Get down there quick.
Love a bit of trad? Make sure to check out this new venue on Marlborough Street, which aims to offer "live traditional Irish music in a relaxed setting". They have a great drinks menu and some solid acts have played already so add this one to your list.
The latest addition to the Quays, Roberta's opened earlier this summer - serving up delish Italian inspired dishes like wood-fired duck hearts, braised beef pot stickers and braised fennel in a gorgeous loft-style space.
Now for something a little different. Token is located in Smithfield and is "a restaurant, bar, retro-arcade, pinball parlour and event space all rolled into one". Think delish burgers, beers and old-school games. The dream.
Ok, well you can't actually check this one out just yet but we're putting it on your radar anyway. The Underground is set to open on Dame Street in mid-September and will be a new venue to showcase up-and-coming new music. We can't wait...
