Luas May Run Late Night Trams On The Red Line This Christmas

Good news for Luas users, as it's just been announced that the Red Line may be running late night trams this Christmas.

While late December services were already in place for the Green Line in the past, this year would be a first for the Red Line after local representations called for it.

These services were not in place for the Red Line previously as there was a belief that there wasn't enough demand to necessitate them, meaning this year would be a trail run.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland are due to decide on whether or not this proposal will go ahead very soon.
