Ireland’s 999 Call Centre Workers Will Go On Strike In The Next Few Weeks

It's been announced that workers in Ireland's 999 call centre will go on strike sometime before the General Election.

The staff of Conduit Global, who runs Ireland's call centres for the emergency services, voted by 88% in favour of the 12-hour stoppage.

Conduit Global claims that the strike action is uncalled for as they have made efforts to improve their working conditions, but disgruntled workers say that they are still forced to ask permission if they wish to use the bathroom.
