It's official, Donald Trump has been elected as President of The United States.
With Hilary Clinton leading in many of the polls leading up to Election Night, it's fair to say that many were confident that they would wake up this morning to see that America had elected its first female President.
Alas, that was not to be and Trump has just accepted the role by vowing that the US "will get on with all other nations, willing to get on with us".
Here's how people are reacting to the news...
At a @ucddublin politics lecture USA was described as a big, brawny, teenager. Well it's just thrown a tantrum! #POTUS2016 #ElectionNight
