This Dublin Fitness Store Is Selling Selection Boxes Full Of Protein Bars

Christmas can be a bit of a strug if you're into the whole fitness thing.

Not only do you have to face broken routines, gym closures, endless nights out and temptation at every turn – but you also have to deal with some serious nutritional issues, as mammy's gravy-soaked leftovers replace your carefully prepped stir-fries, protein shakes and tupperware diet.

Sorry mammy. It's nothing personal.

So Bodyfirst Nutrition, a Dublin-based fitness nutrition store with outlets in Malahide and Clontarf, has come up with a pretty slick solution: the protein bar selection box.

They cost €14.95, contain five bars – which you can select yourself on the website – and are delivered anywhere in Ireland.

As anyone who travels home for Christmas will know, lugging massive tubs of protein powder around with you is neither the most pleasant nor practical prospect. And while these won't force you out to do circuits in the garden as you nurse your St Stephen's Day hangover, they'll solve at least a part of the problem.

So drop a few unsubtle hints with your folks, and boom – a happy 2016 is on the horizon.

(Not me, though. My mammy is never speaking to me again after I publicly insulted the gravy-soaked leftovers...)
