Ask anyone what they'd like to improve on their phone and chance are, they'll say the battery life.
With everything from our love lives to our careers now being controlled by our mobiles, the sight of a 2% battery is enough to strike fear into the heart of anyone.
And it looks like one of our daily habits could be part of the problem.
Tech expert Hatem Zeine told The New York Times this week that charging your iPhone overnight could be doing untold damage to its battery life.
While you may not notice any immediate effect, frequent charging at high speeds could damage the life of the battery in the long-term.
The main damage will come into play after two years so if you're planning to upgrade within this period, you don't have to worry too much.
The article also flagged that exposing your mobile to high temperatures can also reduce the life of the battery - so maybe there's some upside to our chilly Irish weather after all!
