It's been a loooong winter, and being all bundled up in dark grey and black knits is only fun for so long - please, we're craving some sun on our bare skin.
The glorious weekend just gone finally gave us the chance to wear lighter tops and cute lil jackets, and even throw on a splash of colour for the more daring gals.
Basically, we've now gone full lust for warmer weather clothing, and the gorgeous Temple Bar boutique Folkster has some of the nicest pieces we've seen in ages.
The clothing here is hand-sourced by their top stylists and they regularly do buying trips in LA, bringing back ultra unique clothes to their store that you won't find anywhere else in the country.
Here's 11 of our favourite summery (yes - we're calling it, it's time to start building your summer wardrobe) bits and pieces they have in store now:
1. Tied-front Blouse- Teal (€44)
Just look at this gorge paisley-print silky top! It can even be tied in different ways for a more subtle/revealing style.
2. Floral Wrap Tie Top- Ginger (€48)
So Asian - so cute. This tie top is from LA and would be perfect for festivals.
3. Floral Denim Jacket (€84)
The colourful embroidery on this jacket is sooo pretty - we want.
4. Polite Shirt (€39)
This 'polite as f**k' shirt has been ALL over insta lately and we're obsessed.
5. Cape - Sand (€109)
Every gal needs a power cape - trust us, and this one is so perfect.
6. Soul Mates Denim Jackets (€89 each)
O.M.G. Can you imagine you and a bestie in these? Adorable.
7. Silky Cami Top - Sable (€36)
We really, really love the vintage style buttons on this top, ideal for a cocktail night out.
8. Multicolour Jumpsuit (€59)
Doesn't this just make you want to go dancing? Eh, yes. Cute for weddings too.
9. Floral Long Skirt (€54)
This is perfect with bare legs for warm days, and even stylish with black tights and over-the-knee boots until it's summer.
10. Rose Quartz And Druzy Earrings (€49)
These earrings were handmade exclusively for Folkster in New York - hence why they're SO beautiful.
11. Suedette Jacket - Pink (€59)
Sure look, you can never have enough jackets - and this one is too slick to pass up.
Folkster can be found in 9 Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, or online, and they also have a deadly bridal and vintage kilo store in Kilkenny.

Dublin is glutted with literary magazines. They’re ten a penny; if today’s penny is actually €15 each. In 2017 Justine Carbery wrote in The Irish Independent “literary journals proved to be constant stars in a fluctuating market. Ireland, with its rich history of independent literary magazines, finds itself in rude health today with many new […]
(and Always) It’s never been more vital to support Queer-Owned Spaces in Dublin. Put your money where your morals are as often as you can. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I know that the people who run our bars, restaurants, and cafés shape the atmosphere more than the decor or the playlist ever […]
