The way the current rental market is going is absolutely insane, and while we love lusting over fabulous property porns and dream apartments as much as the next person, the sad truth is that it's seriously hard to find a place to live.
Last month, 99 families became homeless in Dublin.
And one quick look on any property rental website in Ireland clearly shows the drastic state of housing right now, with nothing available in Dublin for less than €650.
We took a look at the most expensive, and the cheapest, places to rent on Daft.ie right now, and the difference between them is nuts.
This eight bedroom, three bathroom home dates from c.1660 and is one of the "oldest surviving homes in the heritage town of Dalkey", and includes just over one acre of private gardens.

A four bedroom, three bathroom home with sea views over Dalkey Bay, features include a Turkish steam bath, an outdoor seawater swimming pool, walk-in wardrobes, a cinema room, and TWO kitchens.

Recently renovated single room bedsit, "first time let." Self contained, separate to owners house with own front door. Brand new bed, mattress, fridge, microwave. Private shower and toilet. That's all.

Despite the description calling this a "deluxe ensuite studio", the only amenities it has is a coffee station with microwave, kettle and fridge - no full kitchen.

Jesus christ.
We don't envy anyone trying to find a home to rent right now...
