It's fair to say that no Fair City storyline has gripped the public's imagination like Katy's kidnap.
Over the past year, the poor girl has been locked up by evil Ciaran with no hope in sight for her release.
There's been petitions and protests, and now it seems that RTÉ has come to its senses and are going to allow us to move on with life.
Yes, my friends, it all ends TONIGHT... apparently.
The rumour mill is rife that the storyline will finally reach its climax in tonight's episode and Ciaran could even be set to be killed off.
The last time we checked in with the pair (and poor Emmet), Katy had stabbed Ciaran - leading to hopes that she could be about to escape.
And with Ciaran being the nation's favourite villain over the last few months, it seems fans are not ready to let him go just yet...

There have been a few false starts so we're not entirely convinced that they're going to pull the plug on the storyline but we're definitely be tuning in to find out!
