Daft.ie has released its Q1 2018 DART & Luas stop-by-stop house price maps which reveal the average cost of buying a home next to each stop.
Among the key findings are the fact that commuters on the South Dublin coastline pay the most for a property close to a DART station at an average of €625,000. The most expensive stop is Lansdowne Road (€765k) followed by Sydney Parade (€761k) and Blackrock (€734k).
The most expensive stop along the Luas is Beechwood on the green line with prices averaging €752k while a home near the Spencer Dock stop on the red line costs €633k.
Martin Clancy from Daft.ie said:
“Access to transport infrastructure is, unsurprisingly driving up premiums for properties with good connectivity. For example, on the Luas green line 16 of the 27 stops have average property prices in excess of half a million euro.”
