Traffic in Rathmines could soon operate under a one-way system if new plans go ahead.
The changes would see more room for bus and cycle lanes and all private vehicles banned from traveling into town along Rathmines Road. The plans are part of the new Bus Connects scheme but Labour Senator Kevin Humphreys has expressed concerns about how the changes would affect locals in Rathmines.

The National Transport Authority is currently inviting feedback on the plans.
