Wedding locations can be hard to find, and tougher to decide upon – but that's where we chime in.
We've taken a look at the incredible Ardtara Country House, nestled up the North just above Belfast, along with its stunning surroundings.
Check out some of the incredible reasons we've fallen for it – and with any luck, you'll do the same.
Harry Jackson Clark, company chairman of William Clark & Sons Linen, built the Ardtara Country House for his bride-to-be, Alice, in 1895.

With Ardtara, you have the option to book out the whole place for you and your guests.
And once you've arrived there, you quickly realise the world is your oyster, as you get to revel in the privacy of your very own private forest.

Ardtara's restaurant was named Best Hotel Restaurant in Ulster 2015 by the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
If it looks this good, can you imagine just how good it tastes?

So romantic, that it actually won the title of 'Most Romantic Hotel of The Year' by The AA.
So there.

Including personal wedding co-ordinator, red carpet, candelabras, canapés and candles, to name a few.

Ardtara Country House is located in Upperlands, meaning it's within a mere 10-60 minutes of all the scenic attractions the North Antrim coast has to offer, including the Giant’s Causeway, Royal Portrush/Portstewart links golf courses and Belfast and Derry airports.

Complete with tapestries on the walls, oriental rugs on the floors and antiques all around, with nine en-suite bedrooms, king size beds and working fireplaces.

Along with the awards mentioned earlier, Ardtara also boasts being in the TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame”, by maintaining their 5***** rating for the last 5 years.
National Geographic Traveler Magazine also selected Ardtara as one of the five best places to stay in Northern Ireland, in 'The List of Best Places to Stay in Britain & Ireland'. And is also a renowned member of Ireland’s Blue Book of Distinguished Properties.
Sounds good, eh?
