Our hunt for new places to get our brunch fix is a never-ending crusade filled with poached eggs, more mimosas then we should probably be drinking and plate after plate after plate of bacon. Crispy, plz.
Our latest love is a very pretty conservatory cafe in Beggars Bush, D4, that kinda reminds me of my granny's greenhouse in a lovely, light-filled and green-fern way.
Press Cafe is an independent cafe located in the historical grounds of the National Print Museum, making it the ideal spot for a bite to eat followed by a wander around the museum.
There's actually a pretty great exhibition on there at the moment of Irish record covers from 1955-2017 if you want your weekly culture dose.
As for the cafe itself? Stroll through an archway for rustic, homemade weekend brunch.
The food is lovingly homemade and portions are just what you need - not tiny and not so huuuge you're left busting at the seams feeling wasteful for not finishing everything.
Try the Press Signature, toasted soda farls with crushed avocado and chorizo topped with two poached eggs (option to substitute chorizo for smoked salmon).
YUM.

Feta, chilli, pomegranate, mint and rocket salad drizzled with balsamic and poached eggs is the perfect light brunch option...
This seems to be a fairly local spot for brunching, but this off-the-beaten-track vibe means you should have no problems getting a seat.
