These Are Dublin’s Favourite Meals To Order For A Takeaway

Dublin's culinary tastes may be traditionally leaned towards Coddle and other Dub delicacies, but Deliveroo have revealed what we really like to eat.

The on-demand food delivery service analysed hundreds of thousands of orders to reveal the regional food habits of Ireland’s two biggest cities - Dublin and Cork.

Dubliners, it seems, are tempted by more casual food from the Western world with Burgers from Eddie Rockets and Burritos from Boojum the stand-out dishes of the county, while Pulled Pork and Bacon Fries from the Aussie BBQ also proving popular.

As for when Dubs like to settle in for a trendy takeaway? 8pm on a Saturday night is the most popular time to order.

The top five dishes to order from Deliveroo in Dublin are:

1. Eddie Rockets - Family Special
2. Boojum - Burrito
3. Aussie BBQ - Pulled Pork and Bacon Fries 
4. Beshoff Bros - Haddock Family Meal for 4
