Crackbird on South William Street is known to many a Dubliner as the go-to spot for a chicken fix when in the city centre but it seems visitors to the capital aren't immune to the venue's delicious charms.
Charli XCX, who will be supporting Taylor Swift at Croke Park this Friday and Saturday, has been speaking to RTÉ about how she's almost more excited about sampling Crackbird's fried chicken this weekend than playing in front of 80,000 adoring fans.
The English singer said 'I'm so stoked, there's this restaurant called Crackbird that I like dream of, dude, that is f***ing good fried chicken. I'm really looking forward to that - and the shows of course - but mainly the fried chicken."
We're sure there will be plenty of people at GAA HQ agreeing with the 25-year-old on this one.
