Even if you're one of those people who loves paying top dolla for top product, you probably share our affinity for one of life's greatest gifts.
So we've put together a list of some of Dublin's top cafés – along with some of the larger chains for comparison – to scope out how many drinks you need to purchase before tucking into a free one.

No loyalty cards to be found here. They're actually pretty against them, as it happens – which seems fair.
Buy nine, get the 10th coffee free.

Five coffees in and you bag yourself a scone, and your 10th coffee is free.

These guys don't do a loyalty card system, but what they do do reward their customers with free coffees every few weeks – fair.
Buy five, get the sixth free.
They also do a €2 takeaway before 1pm on Tuesdays, aptly named #TightArseTuesday. Nice.

Not au fait with the loyalty card system yet, but they assure us that they are on their way.
The most generous of the lot – buy just five and your sixth is free.

If you register online, you can use a Starbucks cards – and you'll receive emails when you get a free reward.
