Searching for and seeking out little-known restaurants is something we love to do at Lovin Dublin.
We get just as excited about the next hip eatery as anyone else, but there's something about stumbling upon purely simple, amazing food with no frills and no distracting fuss that reminds you what it is that makes a place worth visiting.
Brothers Dosirak on Capel Street has been on our radar for quite a while, but it's only recently that I actually got the chance to pop in and check it out. And it was SO worth it.
Hidden away in the very back of the Asia Super Foods store on Capel Street (FYI probably the best street in town for Asian grub), this charming Korean spot will blow your mind.
Firing out bibimbap and beef bulgogi, the brothers who own this beaut of a place cook up a serious storm, and you'll be forgiven for forgetting that you're even in Dublin once you take one mouthful of their flavoursome dishes.
Spicy, tangy Kimchi, BBQ sesame wings, fresh mussels and salmon terriyaki make up just some of what's on offer.
Daily specials change depending on what's fresh in store, and their veggie Bibimbap complete with a crispy fried egg will have you aching to go back again and again.
Take a seat alongside the bench facing the open kitchen to watch the chefs prep and flame up your food...
If you've been thinking that all restaurants of late in the city lack that special something, make your way to Brothers Dosirak and you'll be excited and re-energised by Dublin's food scene yet again.
