The Bernard Shaw Will Be Giving Out Free Pints To People At The Canal This Weekend

The weekend is nearly here and by the sounds of things the sun will be sticking around Dublin which can only mean one thing - people chilling out by the Grand Canal around Portobello. 

Great craic is generally had whenever crowds descend on the area but sometimes things get a little bit, shall we say, messy? However, it now seems that The Bernard Shaw has come up with the perfect solution. 

The pub is planning on handing out bin bags for people to fill up with litter found along the canal. When the bags are returned, customers will be given a free pint of Brewtonic beer. Simple! 

When contacted by Lovin, the Bernard Shaw told us that the offer will be trialled for this weekend only and then they'll 'see how it goes' for the rest of the summer.
