Yo! Kitchen, famed for introducing the famous Japanese conveyor belt to the UK, has opened a brand-new restaurant in Dublin.
Only their second-ever full-service restaurant, the new concept will focus on kyoku – Japanese for sharing.
New introductions on the menu include Black Cod, Katsu Curry Arancini (YUM!) and an unusual sounding Sashimi Pizza. I’m intrigued…

Drawing inspiration from the markets and backstreets of Tokyo, Yo! Kitchen is an Izakaya-style menu.
What the hell does that mean? Good question.
An izakaya is basically the Japanese equivalent to a pub, or at least is similar to one. Serving up tapas-style food that’s meant to be shared.

Some are casual, others are more traditional. The Dundrum branch boasts long shared tables and dishes ideal for mixing and matching with mates.

Located in Harvey Nichols in Dundrum, it couldn’t have come at a better time as we’re a nation obsessed with all things Japan, thanks to the ongoing RWC happening there right now.
