There's a whole variety of reasons why tonight will never be forgotten in Irish footballing history.
But among the best of them – Long's goal, the panel's response, an incredible debut for Darren Randolph – was the atmosphere in the Aviva tonight.
It was one of the first times the roof was truly raised off the new venue by the soccer tenants. And this picture proves that point perfectly.
