On a day of high emotion, impassioned messages on social media and incredible tales of people travelling home to vote from all corners of the world, it was going to take something special to really make us say 'wow'.
But this story – which has had us glued all day to the Twitter account of a chap most of us had never heard of before today – really takes the biscuit.
It starts with a dawning realisation that he was indeed eligible to vote, involved all sorts of complications and twists and turns, and ends with... well, that would spoil the story, wouldn't it?
The feelgood story to end a day of feelgood stories. Kdamo, we salute you.
