The Dublin Fire Brigade were called to handle a burning car on the M4 Dublin to Sligo Road this morning.
According to AA Roadwatch, the vehicle burst into flames at the J9 Enfield exit before the toll bridge. The cause of the fire is not yet clear.

The emergency services managed to quickly get the blaze under control.

Thankfully, the wreckage has now been cleared and the road has returned to normality.
