The increasing price of Freddos has been a hot topic for a years now, with the previously 10c-priced-snack climbing the costly ladder of today's high-priced treat market. 

And just when you think the price can't be risen again – Vouchercloud have informed us that Freddo only go and raise the price to 40c.

And while the above chart references British Pound Sterling, we're being told that €0.40 is the price being slapped on Freddos in Ireland.

THE AUDACITY. 

Long gone are the days you'd walk into a shop with €1 and walk out with a schoolbag full of sweets. 

RIP 10c Freddos – we'll never forget you.
