The U.S. group has announced a European tour which will see them play a date at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Thursday September 26 of this year.

The band have always had a particular affinity with Irish audiences and their shows here regularly go down a storm. If you've any money left after the wave of gigs that are set to take place this summer, tickets for The Pixies go on sale this Friday at 10am from the usual outlets.
