All dog owners know how hard it can be to integrate our furry friends into our social lives, with many venues having a strict human-only policy.
And even if you do find somewhere that offers a dog-friendly brunch, the focus is very much on Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys rather than treats for your pup.
Well, one Dublin establishment has now decided to address the situation by hosting a gourmet Doggy Brunch this October.
The Barbers in Grangegorman (near Stoneybatter) is inviting people to bring their dog in for a a serious feast of Orijen dog food (made from fresh Angus beef, wild boar, plains bison, romney lamb and Yorkshire pork) washed down with Elderflower spring water and a doggy treat for dessert.

There'll also be dog training and behaviour presentation by Kevin Geraghty of Pawfection Dog Training and a Q&A session with a small animals vet.
The doggy brunch is priced at just €4 and will take place on Sunday October 8th from 3pm.
"All our four-legged friends and their two-legged counterparts are invited to enjoy Doggy Brunch with a specially prepared doggy menu, informative dog related presentations and a cracking evening of live entertainment.
Bringing your dog for a Sunday walk in Dublin 7 will never the same again!"
