If you're looking for something to see in the cinema this week, you couldn't be more spoiled for choice...
Between a talky, spiritual sequel to The Social Network, a critically lauded, iPhone filmed trans-comedy and a sensational 3D-sex saga, this week’s big hitters are a bit of a mixed bag.

Aaron Sorkin’s long awaited take on the mythic Apple co-founder has had a long, tough road to the screen but it finally arrives in theatres this weekend.
Based on the glowing notices Steve Jobs has received so far - particularly Michael Fassbender’s magnetic take on the title character’s bouts of megalomania - it’s been worth the wait.
With a stellar supporting cast including Kate Winslet and Seth Rogen, Steve Jobs is the kind of thrilling film that results from a perfect meeting of creative minds.

Unconventional in both subject matter and format, Tangerine has been causing a stir on the festival circuit since early this year.
Made using the iPhone 5s over Christmas 2013 on a shoestring budget, the film follows two trans sex workers, Sin Dee and Alexandra as they rattle around town trying to find the pimp who’s been cheating on Sin Dee while she spent the month in prison.
Tangerine’s observational style, along with the familiar look of iPhone footage only adds to the charming DIY-ness of Sean Baker’s film, and proves that sometimes all you need to make a movie is a good idea.

This one’s not for the prudes. Anyone familiar with the output of Argentine filmmaker Gasper Noé will be well versed in his disarming, often confrontational approach.
Love examines film student Murphy’s (Karl Glusman) past, tragic relationship with ex-girlfriend Electra (Aomi Muyock), and his obsession with this period in his life. Check out the very NSFW trailer below.
