Did you know that Opium has an Asian Cooking Academy? Nope, neither did I. But now that I do, I will most definitely be signing up.
And as it turns out, there are two classes running on October 14 and 15.
The events are part of Dublin Town’s Food & Drink Festival and will be run by Opium’s executive head chef Philip Hughes.
Fancy “a culinary journey through Asia”? Well, Hughes promises just that. He’ll show you how to nail the basics of Asian cuisine and by the end of the masterclass, you’ll be able to add three new dishes to your repertoire.
Learn how to make dumpling broth, prawn and mango Vietnamese rolls and sweet potato and butternut squash yellow curry. Sure to impress next time you’re on dinner duty.
The events will take place in Opium’s stunning Botanical Garden. Do it for the photo ops alone.
Tickets for October 15 are sold out but there are still some available for October 14. Get yours here.
