Porridge – known as oatmeal to some, and as gruel to others.
But to us it is wholesome, nourishing and ridiculously filling.
But in some Dublin spots you can be charged as much as a tenner (no joke) for a simple bowl of oats 'n' milk, and a few extra toppings. Ain't nobody got the cash for that.
But this new Camden Rowe cafe are now offering it on the suuuuper cheap!
The Fat Fox offer free porridge to their customers, only charging for toppings. Hurrah!
And, yes, their porridge is pretty damn good.
Toppings range from apples and bananas to chocolate, fruit compote and various nut butters. Prices for toppings start at 75c and range to €3.50 for multiple.
So say you get one topping – you porridge comes in at just 75c. Which is beyond sound.
We really love this concept.
The porridge itself is made with rice milk – so it's suitable for vegans.
And the rest of their grub is seriously tasty too.
We really do love just about everything about this place.
