Given the weather out there, the October Bank Holiday is by far the best of all the Bank Holidays to stay in and watch the telly.
Assuming you've already finished Stranger Things 2 on Netflix, you'll be looking for a decent film to watch and TG4 is delivering this Saturday night.
Killing Bono is based on the autobiography of Neil McCormick, a music journalist who, along with his brother Ivan, harboured ambitions of breaking into the rock music scene back in the late 70s and early 80s. The only problem? A little-known band called U2, who happened to attend the same school as the McCormick brothers, were already beginning to make waves.
You'll see from the trailer below that there are enough gags to keep you entertained and some of the antics of the lads in the partially-true biopic wouldn't be out of place in Spinal Tap. 70s and 80s Dublin looks great too in this tale of missed opportunities and career-changing moments.
Killing Bono gets underway tonight on TG4 at 9.30pm and stars Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan (Darren from 'Love/Hate') as the McCormick Brothers alongside Martin McCann as Bono himself.
