Dun Laoghaire was the scene of a protest today to fight back at plans to reduce local Dublin Bus services.
The protest, which began at People's Park at 1pm, is a response to the announcement that budget cuts would mean reductions in services to the Killiney, Sallynoggin and Dun Laoighaire areas, which would be a massive blow to the community's more vulnerable members.
As can be seen in the pictures below, the People Before Profit campaigners managed to rally many locals to their cause today.

Dublin Bus have yet to make a definitive decision on the future of these bus routes.
