Techno fans will delight at the sight of this roster of acts coming to the Academy this Friday. Celebrating the 500th edition of his much-loved White Noise radio show, Dave Clarke comes to Dublin with liked-minded guys Marcel Fengler and Sunil Sharpe for a special recording for RTE radio. Unmissable for those into your hard dance.

Kennedy's is the venue for an exciting event centred on up and coming local band Fiction Peaks's new EP launch this weekend. The mature, layered, indie-based sound of Fiction Peaks will appeal to anyone interested in homegrown rock talent. With support from Magic Moogle’s Vintage Psycho Arrangement, Journeyman and Trevor Kane DJing til late, there's hours of quality music to enjoy here.

Easily one of hip-hop’s most eccentric personalities, Kool Keith (AKA Dr. Octagon, AKA Dr. Dooom, AKA Black Elvis) calls into The Sugar Club this weekend for a very rare Irish appearance. Expect dexterous, off-the-wall rhymes delivered with unpredictability and supreme charisma. KutMasta Kurt, Keith's right hand man, is another member of underground hip-hop royalty, having also worked with the likes of The Beastie Boys and Dilated Peoples.

French DJ/producer Étienne de Crécy returns to Ireland after a five year gap to deliver his trademark sensual, airy disco-inclined beats. With the years of experience Étienne's has under his belt, getting Hangar's sizeable dance floor going is sure to a task he's relishing.
