The film adaptation of Irvine Welsh's book tells the blackly comic story of Renton (Ewan McGregor), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Spud (Ewen Bremner) and the psychotic Begbie (Robert Carlyle), who exist in a world of heroin and violence. It's all very trippy and brilliant.

The long-awaited sequel is set to hit cinemas at the end of the month, so if you've never gotten round to watching this classic, now's the time.
We suggest you get running for your ticket.

There are two screenings of Trainspotting taking place on Thursday, January 19 and Sunday, January 22. Tickets go from €12.50 and you can pick them up here.
