"How this place doesn't have a Michelin star yet, I'll never know," said Niall Harbison in his review of the Greenhouse restaurant last year.
Today, however, the Dawson Street establishment became the latest addition to Dublin's Michelin Star club.
The restaurant, which has been open for just over three years, has long been touted as a serious contender for the star – and following a leak today of the Michelin Guide, which had been due for release tomorrow, the fantastic news was confirmed by the Michelin Guide's official Twitter page.

The news for Thornton's in Fitzwilliam Hotel has not been so good, however; the establishment has failed to retain its star for the first time since 1996, in what will be seen as something of a blow to head chef Kevin Thornton.
Meanwhile, Bon Appetit in Malahide also surrendered its star – however this had been known to owner Oliver Dunne, who took the decision to merge his Restaurant and Brasserie last year for operational reasons, which he described in great detail here.
Outside of Dublin, there was exciting news for Loam in Galway, which joined Aniar to become the city's second starred venue – a phenomenal record, summed up best by the Irish Times' Conor Pope.
Galway has a #Michelin starred restaurant for every 35k residents. Dublin has one for every 315k. Cork has none.

All of the other 2015 winners retained their stars, in what has been – on the whole – a pretty good day for dining in Dublin and Ireland.
